Frieze Seoul

For the second edition of Frieze Seoul, Hauser & Wirth’s presentation brings together an astounding group of contemporary and historical works by leading gallery artists, including Rita Ackermann, Louise Bourgeois, George Condo, Paul McCarthy, and Philip Guston. The presentation also reflects the latest activities in the gallery programme, with a special focus on the artists who joined the gallery roster in the last five years, such as Camille Henrot, Allison Katz and Angel Otero.

Al río / To the River

Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, Sydney

The exhibition focuses on ‘Al río / To the River,’ a large-scale photographic project that depicts the river, Río Bravo/Rio Grande, which is used to demarcate the international boundary between Mexico and the United States. Since 2016, Leonard has photographed along the 2,000-km stretch of river that acts as the border between the two countries.

Featuring work from all creative periods of Lassnig’s career the exhibition will notably offer a thematic approach to her groundbreaking and varied oeuvre. Curated by Peter Eleey, UCCA Curator-at-Large, and Antonia Hoerschelmann, Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, Albertina Museum, this will be the first significant presentation of Lassnig’s work in China.
